Hey everyone
I need some assistance with a few things.
When I play games, especially the latest ones like Tomb Raider or Assassin's Creed, things run pretty well.
But no matter how I adjust the graphics settings—high or low—it always stays around 40-60 FPS or sometimes 50-60 FPS.
In smaller areas, it can be 70-120 FPS or even 100-140 FPS.
I checked if running these games is possible with a GPU hardware scan, and they said I can use the high setting.
I just did a clean driver install for my GPU.
My GPU temps stay between 60-70°C in summer, even when gaming.
I’ve looked at YouTube videos about optimal Windows settings and NVIDIA controls, but it didn’t really change my performance.
My specs are: Intel Core i7-7700K (4 cores, 4.2GHz), MSI GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB gaming edition), 16GB RAM,
Main Monitor Samsung C24FG73FQM 23.5" QLED 144Hz DP (Display Port),
Second Monitor Samsung HDMI, two HDD drives, and an ASUS PRIME B250M-A motherboard.

I don't see why you'd want to pair a k suffix processor with a B series chipset, you should've gone with a Z series chipset. Also, did you use DDU to remove the drivers from your platform? Which driver version are you running on your Nvidia GPU? You also forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age. Include the resolution at which you game on, not just the FPS numbers.
Version for Windows 10?

Sorry, I can't check the PSU at the moment. However, I used DDU to remove the drivers. My current driver version is 451.67 and the Windows version is Windows 10 Enterprise 1803. I'm playing on 1920x1080 resolution, but I didn't have money for a new chipset. The person in the store suggested it's fine to switch to the B series chipset.
