The latest Snapdragon X elite laptop chips are coming out, with widespread availability in various devices soon. Many games are now natively optimized for the ARM version of Windows 11. If you have a list, feel free to share it. It can cover mobile titles, casual apps, e-sports, or full-featured AAA games. For lighter laptops, would you like native support for certain games, or do you think they should be supported at all?

They keep clinging to windows for a longer time than 2 months before giving it up again :p. But actually installing real windows on the arm has happened many times before—it's mostly just isolated cases. Until there are at least three people in and they can prove it works and will get support, I won’t even think about buying one. Plus, destroying the new built-in copilot for spyware, adware, malware, all that junk is a waste of time.

Privacy never affected me in any way, so it doesn’t matter. They’ve already shared benchmarks, software, and gaming results for these new chips, plus a fresh Windows update boosted ARM performance on Windows. You have to back the underdog to drive progress, so I’m testing one of these new laptops, playing as many games as possible, and reaching out to developers. I’m urging them to include full native Windows 11 ARM support for these chips, so users can truly enjoy what Apple Silicon offers for Macs—and push x86 out of the way to help combat climate change.

This situation involves a database storing your recent activities on your computer in simple text format. It’s essentially a small cloud storage that requires just a few lines of code to retrieve everything from the past 30 days. This poses a significant security threat. While someone already has access, most programs are secured, making it difficult to access or extract data. Sensitive files are usually removed. Now, the data resides in Copilot’s memory, which increases the risk since it won’t be deleted. It’s important to stay alert, as this isn’t a permanent fix—updates will likely reactivate it soon. I’m aware of the situation and hope they don’t abandon it again or leave it unused for years. The main concern is Microsoft’s demand for full access, which could force a native ARM setup. Since Windows for ARM is now limited, the new less restrictive SDK seems promising. However, this change has pushed Microsoft toward requiring UEWP, making native ARM support harder. While Windows for ARM has been available for some time, it feels like a fresh start. I’m curious about how well x86 emulation performs on the newer chips once real benchmarks are available. Regarding climate change, there’s a lot we can do to significantly cut power consumption. A study from two years ago found that around 65% of current system power use comes from tracking and marketing activities—something that’s quite alarming.

Looking forward to seeing new standards. Playing games such as WoW on the move with a fast, efficient laptop.

They should begin by focusing on the most widely played titles.

Sure, but those types of services will always need to be there, so we focus on making them as power-efficient as we can. We can’t cut back on gaming, streaming, social media, or volunteer computing, but we can ensure the hardware and servers running them are built with ARM chips.
