Games for old laptop
Hey there! Here are some suggestions that fit your needs: look for action-packed titles similar to Igi 2, with a solid storyline. Make sure they support multiplayer online and meet your system specs—HDD, 1.73 GHz CPU, Windows 8.1, 4 GB RAM, and 256 MB video memory. Let me know if you need more options!
It’s the standard Minecraft client you’re looking for. It covers everything you need. Other titles like Starbound and Tereria offer single-player experiences with strong RPG elements. Slime Rancher, Stardew Valley, and similar games are also available when you have the right skills.
I can provide a real CPU model. The clock speed gives me a good idea, but it doesn’t cover everything. It seems you don’t have a dedicated GPU, which likely restricts you to games from around 2010 to 2015. What would you prefer more—story or multiplayer? Most titles fall into one category rather than both. Also, since you’re interested in FPS or 3D games, that might help narrow things down.
I have an Intel Centrising Duo model T2250 running at 1.73Ghz with graphic information. It uses the Mobile Intel® 945 Express chipset family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.0) on Windows 8.1 32-bit. The processor supports MMX, SE support, SE2, and SE3. It runs on a Processor info family 6 model E stepping 8 architecture. Please note that game files should be multiplayer compatible with the attached photo. Thank you, Adit.
It's worse than expected. The CPU is dual-core from 2009, yet games from 2010-2013 should still run. Even some modern titles for a general audience might work. Story and multiplayer would suit, though not FPS games like Starcraft. With titles from 2007 onward, lower settings aren't too demanding. If it were quad-core, Rocket League or CSGO would be better choices. I don't recall their performance on older dualcores well.
I understand your CPU is quite old, and I know your gaming laptop runs GTA V, GTA 3, Unreal Tournament, Multiplayer, FIFA 8, Igi 2 Spider-Man Web Head, Halo, Max Payne, Tomb Raider, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 2010, Micro Machine 4, and Screamer. You mentioned the games you’ve told me work well, so here are some more options you might enjoy. Let me know if you want suggestions via Discord! My name is mintseeker312#0630.
