Games feel choppy ?
I believe my computer isn't functioning correctly, but I'm not sure. I experienced high frame rates, not overheating, and the frame times seem fine. Ethernet connection is stable as well. XMP is set to 3200 MHz. However, games feel choppy. My previous laptop was faulty, so I received this new PC about a year ago. I can't be certain if the games are working properly now, because on my old machine, games performed worse, which is still unusual for me. My current setup includes an i5 12400f, Asus B660M Plus with Wi-Fi d4, a G.Skill 32 GB RAM (2x16 GB), a 750W bronze power supply, and a Manli RTX 3070 Ti. It's a prebuilt PC. I've recorded two videos using Xbox Game Bar, which is always disabled.
Here are the links:
1st video (60fps): https://youtu.be/MZ3IrZdTlWI?si=ez3qc9haQwtOjjhE
2nd video (30fps): https://youtu.be/lW5tFzUiioU?si=Shf3hk8oD8V1NnAJ
ChatGPT also analyzed the videos and reported choppy performance with micro-stuttering. I tested it in various games, not just Rocket League.
Open your Nvidia App settings, adjust the global maximum frame rate to 237Hz. Enable Vsync globally and disable it within each specific game. Check if this improves the experience. Also, consider setting power preference to 'prefer max performance' in the settings.
I attempted it as you described but didn't assist you effectively.
