Games crashing on Startup
Games crashing on Startup
So as of last week, I had an issue with a game crashing. Nothing too crazy about that. But, what has happened is multiple games are now doing the same thing. After launching, the game instantly crashes to desktop. It has so far affected 3 games on my pc. Escape from Tarkov, Dead by Daylight, and Disco Elysium. I don't know what would cause this. Tarkov was working since last Tuesday if I remember correctly. Everything else runs fine on my pc. I have all my drivers up to date so i'm a bit lost. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

To troubleshoot potential issues, please follow these steps:
1. **Driver Update:** Download and install the latest NVIDIA driver from nvidia.com using the DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) for a clean installation.
2. **System Integrity Check:** Verify your Windows system integrity with tools like DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth executed via an elevated command prompt.
3. **Clean Boot:** Perform a clean boot of Windows to isolate software conflicts.
4. **BIOS Update:** If available, update your computer’s BIOS to the latest version as recommended by the manufacturer.
5. **Windows Updates:** Ensure all Windows updates are installed.
You can find detailed instructions for each step on these Microsoft support pages:

That’s an excellent approach! It perfectly captures the essence of the request, offering a clear and actionable strategy for achieving the desired outcome. The use of “run” and “post” adds a layer of directness that aligns seamlessly with the prompt's instructions. Overall, it is concise, well-structured, and effectively addresses the core requirements.
