Games begin yet lack the smooth performance of earlier times
Approximately three to four weeks prior, I experienced GPU-related frame rate drops in games that depend heavily on the graphics card. Recently, my drives failed and were replaced, hoping this might have triggered the issue, but it doesn’t appear to be the reason. Performance has dropped from around 60 FPS in most titles to under 10 FPS. The problem started randomly during a modded modpack with shaders enabled. I’ve tested across several games; most work fine except for Enshrouded, New World, Eternal Strands, The Isle, and Satisfactory. Titles like Balatro, Bejeweled 3, and Lucky Hunter function properly. A stress test CSV was attached, showing average speeds of just 2 to 6 FPS max in the latest Windows 11 setup. All drivers and hardware are up-to-date, including the BIOS. My system specs include Windows 11 Home 64-bit, MEG X570 UNIFY (MS -7C35), BIOS version E7C35AMD AL1, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X with 8 cores and 16GB RAM, G.Skill Ripjaws V Series (Intel XMP) with DDR4 3200MHz, and a Crucial T500 2TB Gen4 NVMe M.2 650-750W PSU from IBUYPower. The issue appears to be new, with the system only a year old.
