In the meantime, I haven't completed Witcher 3 because I still enjoy seeing Geralt and Yennefer together on a unicorn! It feels like my inner child's fantasies merging with my desires. God bless.

Far Cry Primal looks like it could be good and fresh. I am quite excited about it because I am so fed up with futuristic FPS games, I'm sick of them already. I really wish there was like a new cod/battlefield coming based during world war 2 but Far Cry Primal is good as well, it'll at least be something fresh instead of another generic futuristic-super-edgy-cyborg-exosuit-shooter.

I believe I should skip it. FPS isn’t really my style; there was one game I was excited about that’s set to release this year, but it’s fading from my memory now.

I'm more drawn to indie titles lately than big-name AAA games. Yet this year there are several AAA releases that catch my interest. Overwatch, The Division, Mirror's Edge, Dishonored 2, No Man's Sky, Dishonored, and Warhammer 40,000 are among the standouts. My recent support has been for Yooka-Laylee on Kickstarter, which is my only commitment so far. The top picks stand out, while the rest remain uncertain. I believe Dishonored 2 and Overwatch are likely to perform well this year, whereas the others hinge on factors like community backing, developer commitment, and feedback. On the other hand, Overwatch already benefits from strong development and a loyal fanbase; developers would need to make mistakes for it to falter. DOOM shows genuine effort, but its fate depends on player reception—if it doesn’t resonate, it might be overshadowed by competitors. The single-player mode gives DOOM an edge. Microsoft’s titles, such as GoW:UE and Halo Wars 2, are also worth noting. Both franchises have faced challenges due to PC support issues and potential P2P multiplayer risks, which could impact their longevity. Indie games are also on my radar—Blade & Soul and Yooka-Laylee are solid choices, along with several others in my queue. This speculation is for PC only; I’m also eyeing upcoming releases like Last Guardian, Ratchet & Clank, Quantum Break, and Recore.

I noticed that popular AAA titles are the main issue. I was close to giving up on gaming but then I decided to step outside the hype and discovered some great games. The Talos Principle Brothers: The Tale of Two Sons Ori and the Blind Forest Dust, Nitronic Rush, Rocket League, Arma 3, Civilization V: Complete Edition, Cities Skylines, Rayman Legends, Trine 1&2, Cave Story.

You’ve just finished reading and playing D&D, but you’re struggling to keep up with the books while finding others to join your sessions.
