Mass Effect is my favorite narrative-driven series, and the Final Fantasy games are among the best in that genre.

I’m thinking about a mix of genres: Bioshock, Middle Earth shadows of Mordor, GTA V, Mafia 2, and some Elder Scrolls titles. That’s what’s coming to mind right now.

GTA 5 offers an excellent, easy-to-use story mode along with a refreshed multiplayer experience for under $60. I strongly suggest it.
