Great! Even with low and medium options, the visuals remain quite appealing. By the way, I’m considering visiting some of the medieval sites—I think it might be worth checking if any remain. (At least the monastery is still there.)

It appears very little remains, actually. Someone has already examined this in the Kingdom’s Come Deliverance thread. Many places—like the original castle—have been erased.

They mention that in-game too, in the codex or somewhere. There's plenty to read in this game.

It seems many users face similar problems with loading delays. Most of us currently rely on SSDs for this type of gaming? I’m curious about whether newer HDD models like Toshiba’s N300 8TB, which include a 128MB cache, can help ease these issues. I’ve experienced read/write speeds around 500MB/s for short periods, then dropping to over 200MB/s—which is definitely lower than my Sandisk SSD but still manageable. (My own SSD is probably around 300MB/s, a fairly slow option from Sandisk, so I won’t be buying again.) Personally, I believe a smooth game should work well on mechanical drives, but I’ll give it a try to see if it improves things.

Players increasingly expect larger or more detailed worlds with higher-resolution textures. It wouldn’t be surprising that in the future NVMe drives become necessary for running some of these games properly.

The creators stepped away after the game's release. Fine-tuning seems unnecessary. Even Ubisoft could improve it.
