I'm fine with boosting stock clock speeds. What I really need is higher frame rates than a console offers. Thanks for the investment—I've already spent more than $900.

It seems like the processor isn't the issue.

Start by questioning the videos you find online. Next, assess how quickly your mind processes information.

1600Mhz with two cards using dual channel. These references are trustworthy, not just casual content. The video comes from Salazar Studio.

Some individuals mislead, even if unintentionally. Linus once made a video long ago stating that memory speed matters, and it does. Many still think that despite other sources suggesting otherwise, including my own experience. I’m aware that GTA 5 has some tricky issues with AMD CPUs, but I don’t believe your performance should be so poor. Are you using any of those "advanced graphics" options by accident? There are only a few of them, or something like that—turn them all off since they really hurt performance.

In the second video, all graphics settings are set to their lowest levels except resolution. Despite that, I haven't reached an average of 50 frames per second.

You're experiencing CPU throttling, likely due to overheating. Use CoreTemp to monitor temps; if they spike then drop sharply, cooling is inadequate. Adding a fan may help. A 4.6GHz clock is higher than ideal for an FX overclock—reducing it to 4.5GHz or 4.4GHz should lower voltage needs without major performance loss. Beyond 4.2GHz, small speed increases often require much higher voltages.
