Greetings,

I’m experiencing occasional frame rate fluctuations in games—often dropping to 80% of my usual FPS for one or two seconds. I’m unable to determine the root cause of this issue.

I've included an HWMonitor screenshot from a gaming session for your review, though I lack extensive technical expertise and may not be able to interpret the data effectively. You might notice something that I’ve missed: https://ibb.co/30LT407

Here are my system specifications:

* Case: Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB
* Processor: Intel i9-900K
* Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti ROG STRIX O11G
* Motherboard: Z390 AORUS MASTER by GIGABYTE
* Memory: 32 GB Corsair Dominator 3600 MHz (4x8)
* Storage: SAMSUNG 970 EVO SSD
* Power Supply Unit: Corsair RM750x
* The computer is relatively new, with the exception of the PSU which has been operating reliably for approximately two and a half years. The FPS drops began recently, after about one month of stable performance. I haven’t made any changes to the system that could be contributing to this problem.

I have not performed any overclocking. I’ve attempted numerous troubleshooting steps, none of which have resolved the issue:

* Adjusting settings within the Nvidia control panel.
* Disabling various Windows features (Game Bar, etc.).
* Connecting the graphics card with two power cables instead of one.
* Updating drivers.
* Changing the display port.

I intend to attempt a full system format, but would appreciate it if you could identify any unusual readings in the attached HWMonitor screenshot: https://ibb.co/30LT407

Please feel free to ask any clarifying questions you may have.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Sincerely,
Daniel

I appreciate your response. I attempted to use your program and also reinstalled Windows 10, but the problem persisted.

I’ve also reviewed discussions regarding V-Sync and minor pauses when frame rates surpass the screen refresh rate; I plan to investigate this further.

If the readings from HWMonitor appear unusual, I may proceed by testing each component individually to determine if one is malfunctioning.

Thank you for your assistance.
