I enlisted the services of a skilled and seasoned technician to install a new cooler, an SSD, and reinstall my Windows 10 operating system. The cooler and SSD are functioning correctly; however, I’m experiencing concerns regarding Windows 10. When I launched CS:GO to evaluate performance gains, it actually worsened, resulting in significant stuttering even within the main menu, dropping to 40 FPS. During gameplay, frame rates plummeted to 30 when gunfire occurred – a problem that didn't exist previously following the reinstallation. I updated my graphics drivers for the latest GPU version and confirmed that the hardware is operating without issues. Could anyone suggest a solution to this problem?

My system specifications:
GTX 1060 with 6GB of memory
AMD FX 6300 processor
Windows 10 Pro
1440x900 resolution, 60 Hz monitor

P.S. I previously consistently ran CS:GO on Very High graphics settings without encountering any difficulties until recently. This issue is also present in nearly all other games I’ve attempted, including ROBLOX…

EDIT: Furthermore, I discovered that after approximately 30 seconds of a CS:GO match, my PC freezes before automatically restarting.

It’s possible your computer already has an integrated graphics processor. If so, try connecting your display to one of the ports located directly on your graphics card – consult your computer’s case to find the graphics card's position and identify its available ports if you are unsure.

I apologize for the simplistic inquiry; I lack expertise in hardware. Additionally, I've observed frequent system interrupts that consume 100% of my processor for approximately one or two seconds – could you explain this issue?

It doesn’t appear to be functioning correctly. I don’t recall mentioning this, but it was working previously five days after the reinstallation, and I thought you should be aware of it.

Have you run any virus checks with software such as Malwarebytes? If not, I suggest performing one, as it might identify malicious software responsible for poor performance.
