Day of Infamy is a mod for Insurgency set in the era of World War 2. It’s currently at its initial phase, alongside the available maps. At present, only two maps exist—Bastogne and Dog Red. The main goal is to sabotage the enemy’s communication while preventing your team from taking down your own radio. This mod pays homage to the earlier Half-Life mod, Day of Defeat, which Valve later released. The original game faded quickly, leaving a tiny player community today. Despite its quirks, it can be effective; using smoke is key for stealth, especially in Bastogne. In the Invasion mode, massing many players on the objective can secure victory. Developers plan to introduce British factions and additional weapons affected by the era. Certain maps will feature different arms—like replacing MG42s with MG34s on Dunkirk or using M1928 Thompsons instead of Thompson M1/A1 for the British side. *Sorry About the Quality—it’s Still Processing* Get the mod and learn how to play: Subscribe now. I understand there aren't any official World War 2 titles being developed. The few games that include WWII content are mostly community-made mods, such as Battlefield 2 - Project Reality, Battlefield 2 - Forgotten Hope, and Red Orchestra 1 - Darkest Hour, which offers impressive tank and infantry battles.

BF2 is my favorite game ever. I spent countless hours playing PR too. Hope I never lost my CD keys again  Those were the good old days. I'm excited to join a squad soon!
