I think it is a really good game. The story and characters is very enjoyable.
The narrative is compelling. Focus on the unfolding events, dialogues, and character development rather than treating it as a typical shooter. Spoilers ahead... avoid reading this if you haven't played the game first. Pay attention to the background music shifts as you progress, and notice how soldiers' language evolves—from polite exchanges to more casual, even crude speech. Their interactions become harsher, almost as if they're losing their original purpose. There are moments when you believe only two options exist, but deeper exploration reveals additional possibilities. Themes like the horrors of war, PTSD, and group influence come into play, raising important moral questions about your actions once the game ends.
The game offers limited freedom to choose its style, sticking closely to typical shooter mechanics. Its narrative stands out as the main draw, though much of the experience revolves around following the story while playing a standard cover-based shooter. I still believe it's worth trying once given its price. It performed better than most similar games, but developers often exaggerate its capabilities in conversations.
