I've encountered similar problems with these games. My computer would shut down completely or restart unexpectedly, and sometimes I had to manually turn it back on. With Watch Dogs, the issue started after applying the Sli patch; crashes occurred whenever Sli was enabled until the official fix was applied. I believed everything was stable until I began modifying Skyrim, especially with a realistic ENB mod. The game ran smoothly at 80-100% CPU usage and temperatures stayed around 60-79°C. Research suggests the problem might stem from insufficient power supply wattage (850W) or overheating the GPU, which triggers a safety shutdown. My rig doesn’t seem to face either issue. I also considered VRAM problems, but I thought a BSOD would happen instead of a power cut. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The PC lags during AOE III likely due to similar issues as before. WD remains quite unstable, and adding too many mods could be the problem. Perhaps a single highly optimized mod would help.

Yea, watch dogs is pretty much trash in that regard, I know. And I do have a lot of mods on in skyrim, and it could be one of them, but what could be the very base issue that causes the entire computer to lose power? Is the ram calling something that isn't there? And also, is this harmful for my pc if it crashes unexpectedly like this? Thanks a lot for replying.

Your processor might be overheating and powering down, or your power supply unit could be failing. I’m not aware of any other possible reasons.

The computer sometimes stops working in certain games. There are a few possible explanations: 1) It refuses to play those games and just turns off without another option, or 2) It's getting tired and wants rest, but you're forcing it to keep running. (JK) @ Dumbpants

It seems you're asking about handling CPU temperatures and modding decisions, plus how to respond to someone using an @ symbol. Let me clarify those points.

Regarding CPU temps: If you're experiencing high temperatures across all cores, it might be wise to avoid certain mods or adjust your setup.
Modding advice: It depends on your goals—some changes can improve performance while others may cause instability.

As for the @ symbol, people often use it for emphasis or to address someone directly in a friendly way.

Consider executing 3D modeling software with high CPU and GPU demand
