I still recall the day GTA IV launched for PC—it was a mess, honestly. Optimization wasn’t up to par, and it just didn’t run smoothly even on top systems back then.

Yup. GTA IV PC version is shit and Just Cause 2 PC version is amazing. Hell I remember playing JC2 on a 9400m equipped 13" MacBook and it ran acceptably! Wonderfully fun game too.
