The advice you gave didn't help at all, so it's referred to as post whoring.

I participated and shared my complete perspective. I believe you're shifting the discussion into a debate about post farming.

Consider adjusting the various AA configurations and observe the results while keeping performance in mind.

It really counts in the bigger picture, boosting the AA could aid TXAA or switch it to 4x MSAA. Just keep in mind a major performance boost.

There seems to be a difference in performance between online and single-player modes.

I follow the tweak from the Geforce manual (specifically for Nvidia users) of enabling MFAA in the control panel. It works well and appears to enhance performance, with 2x MFAA offering around 4x MSAA in my experience, resulting in a 10-30% improvement.

In SP there’s more action happening, and the same applies to 360. Online I’d see around 26 frames, but in SP it can dip below 20 at times.

Yes, MSAA is set to off in-game and MFAA is enabled in the control panel. Adaptive VSync is also used.

Based on what I've learned, turning on MFAA essentially changes the MSAA setting in the options menu. If you're already using double MSAA in GTA V settings, the Nvidia control panel will take precedence and apply two layers of MFAA. You might want to go through the full guide for a detailed explanation of all graphics options and their effects on performance.
