Okay so I am trying to record using Xsplit Gamecaster, this is local recording not streaming. I am currently using Quicksync method, with 1080p, very high quality, 60fps. When I have finished recording, it just exports as a mp4 file, but the file has no actual thumbnail on it, and no program opens it, not even VLC! This always happens, even the xsplit editing tool cannot open these files. So what have I done wrong or what is it that is causing these issues? Thanks Specs - G1 Sniper M3, i5 2500 3.3Ghz, AMD 6870, 8GB 1600Mhz RAM

No, the Intel driver for QuickSync is not installed.

Everything is set up and functions properly with OBS; only XSplit is needed. It performed well once, delivering excellent quality. Files are exported in MP4 format, but there’s no thumbnail available, and WMP or VLC can’t play them.
