If it's shutting down as you normally would, something is initiating the shutdown command. Power or stability problems would simply stop the power or lead to a crash, BSOD, black screen, or freeze. You might be activating the shutdown, or there could be an issue with your power button (on the case). I've noticed broken power buttons that cause random shutdowns during operation. Regarding the hard drives, you can try the free or trial version of Hard Disk Sentinel to check your drive health.
It might be the button, the cable from the motherboard, the small connectors, or the pins on the board. I experienced a similar problem about ten years ago—part of the front IO power cable shifted slightly, leaving a bit of solder or a small piece of a screw or burr inside the opening. This could cause the pins to short when bumped or when the case vibrated too much. I once turned on the PC just by hitting it, and it still worked.
After a few reinstalls, the system stopped showing errors for a while. Then, after some time, the power turned on and the screen went dark despite the graphics card running. I saw red lights near the power cables leading into the GPU, and I had to shut it off at the wall because it wasn’t responding.
