While running BF1 at 1080p with full scaling and ultra settings off on a 64-player server, I'm consistently seeing around 35-45 FPS on average, with occasional drops below that. The performance isn't steady low frames—it feels more like stuttering. It seems to be an issue rather than just needing a better CPU.

Based on your recent comments about Metro 2033 and slow-loading pages, it seems your system might need a better CPU and faster storage.

Turn off V-sync. Metro games no longer have issues, I've created a new format each time. My drive is an SSD, plus my HDD is fast and brand new (just two weeks old). Loading pages felt slow with the 600Mbps connection, but it was under a second now. It's no longer a problem since I dropped to 20Mbps and everything functions as expected.

What is your current frame rate on that rig? You mentioned playing Battlefield 1 there.

I use a 3570 no K model and see improved performance with a less powerful GPU.

Additionally, just in case anyone forgets, my CPU runs a top-tier 4.5GHz OC.
