I've been searching for ways to connect my PC to the LG OLED65CX6LA TV from another room. Moonlight didn't work well, and the Nvidia Shield TV seems overpriced for just streaming games. Anyone else have ideas? Do you handle these setups yourself? Any tips would be really helpful.
You might consider using a Steam Link connection. The physical hardware for this isn't being made anymore, and a recent software patch was causing issues. You can check if your TV supports the Steam Link app, or try running the Steam Link or Parsec software on a Raspberry Pi.
Use an older computer running a current operating system. You can locate a refurbished office suite like Steam Link, though it’s no longer supported and is now in demand.
Check the Steam link app for Android support. It may allow access to games on those devices.
