Borderlands 3 is showing unusual performance issues. When nothing else is active, it launches quickly but demands maximum GPU power, reaching around 190 fps. The challenge becomes noticeable when Discord is running—crashes occur between 5 to 20 seconds after startup, preventing access to the main menu. No error alerts appear. This behavior hasn’t happened before with any other title. I’m certain it’s not a hardware fault, and my system runs updated drivers and Windows. Event logs don’t clearly point to the cause, though I’m unsure what to check next. It seems unlikely to be a physical problem. My specs are: RX 7800 XT, Ryzen 7 5700G, 16GB 3200 DDR4 RAM. Anyone experienced with this issue? Are there settings in Adrenalin or Steam that could be adjusted to resolve it?

Ensure your PC runs smoothly by resetting tuning in Adrenalin and reverting overclocks. You might want to turn off hardware acceleration in Discord, though it shouldn’t interfere. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Configure the built-in AMD Adrenalin Performance Overlay to track CPU/GPU performance during tests.
Step 2: Obtain the Unigine Heaven benchmark (GPU stress test) and execute it. Perform the test twice—once with all applications closed and once with Discord active.
Step 3: Run Cinebench R23 or 2024 (CPU test) similarly, executing twice under identical conditions.

These tests verify stability under load; focus on completion rather than scores. Let me know when you're ready!

Thanks a lot for the guidance! Really glad you found it helpful. I tried it and everything worked smoothly—no crashes at all. I suspect the issue might be elsewhere. I disabled Discord's overlay (something I haven't used before) and the game ran fine. I'm hoping there are no other problems. Still, your tips mean a lot! I'm sure these tools will come in handy later. Thanks again!
