I put pubG on my hard drive and it sometimes freezes in games when I press tab, showing inventory. There are also occasional brief freezes. With an RTX card, Ryzen CPU, and 32GB RAM, I’m wondering if the game’s requirements are too high for my setup or if the drive is faulty.

Hard drives and SSDs aren't limited by age or form; performance varies based on condition. You're correct that a failing drive can occur, so using a disk check service is a good idea—most users probably do it.
