It seems unusual for an overclocked RAM setup to trigger crashes without any detection in stress tests like Memtest or Prime95. The fact that the crashes only appear during gameplay and not under other conditions suggests it might be related to specific workloads or timing. AC Valhalla crashing after about 20 minutes of play is notable, but since you're seeing no errors in other apps and memory tests, it could point to a genuine issue rather than just coincidence. It might be worth exploring whether the game's behavior under load differs from typical usage patterns.

What motherboard and processor are you using? You might want to increase the voltage.

Ryzen 2700x paired with Gigabyte B450 Aorus M BIOS F50 works fine. Recent attempts to adjust voltage or memory controller settings didn’t help. The HyperX Fury advertises running at 1,200–1,350 MHz, but most others stay around 1,350.

my desire for performance lpx 3200 struggles to maintain stability beyond 2866mhz at 1.37v, even though it believes it can handle 3200 at 1.2v—it simply doesn’t work no matter how much effort. with a 2700x setup, the Zen+ design typically won’t support speeds over 2933, so pushing to 3200 feels like an overclock attempt, requiring precise adjustments to voltages and timing.

I understand your requirement for 1.35V at 3200MHz. Could you provide the exact model numbers for these sticks? That way I can confirm if they match your needs.

The documentation states a frequency of 3200mhz at 1.2V; adjusting the voltage slightly wouldn't help, so I would reject it.

After further testing, Prime95 did display an error at 200K FFT when using XMP [email protected]. With Memtest passing six times without issues, it seems the problem likely lies with the memory controller or similar hardware. Running stably at 2933, 18-20-20-39, 1.2V now suggests a sweet spot might exist. It may take time, but the difference could be worth exploring.
