Hey everyone, I’m experiencing a stuttering/freezing issue while playing. It pauses for roughly 0.5 to 2 seconds, usually when approaching new enemies, entering a different building, or turning a corner. The screen freezes, but you’ll hear normal audio during the freeze, or occasionally a strange buzzing sound. When it clears, performance returns to about 60-65%. My CPU is an i5 13600K with 6 performance cores, and I’ve disabled E-cores which helped reduce micro-stuttering in most games. The RenderWorkerCount is currently set to 12. I’m wondering if adjusting this number could help, or if there’s another factor at play—maybe the game or Windows is causing the problem. I’m sure my PC can handle the game well, but something seems off.

I believe I adjusted RenderWorkerCount to one less than the number of cores available. With a 10900K processor having 10 cores, I set it to 9. Perhaps starting with 5 and increasing from there would be better.

Wow, the adjustment paid off. I was using "12" but switched off my E-cores to avoid micro-stuttering, ending up with 6. It seems to function now. Appreciate you focusing on this issue. I've tried numerous fixes before—this should be listed on Activision's troubleshooting guide.
