Verify your audio drivers, ensuring they’re current since outdated ones can hinder your gameplay in CSGO. It might seem odd, but I’ve faced this issue before.

FXAA provided a minor increase in frame rate, not substantial. My GPU and CPU temperatures remain normal. Testing it out now.

The 160fps isn't sufficient for CS players.

I was considering the same thing. My computer is stuck at 299 frames per second in CS:GO. I set console FPS_Max to 60 because my monitor can't exceed 60Hz. Why should I waste resources trying anything higher? You mention yours is over 200—what's going on? Even with a 144Hz display, the fluctuations from 150 to 300 to 180 to 144 to 199.56 won’t be noticeable. Please check if I’m misunderstanding.

The issue is resolved. I disabled certain cores and refreshed the audio drivers, which seems to have fixed it—no more stuttering and a significant increase in FPS!

In certain games, frame rate influences how the game feels. It wasn’t clear in CS:GO, but in the source it simplified movement. For Cod4 it made jumps possible from farther away. It can distort physics regardless of frame visibility.
