Your MSI cooler isn’t keeping your CPU below 100°C. It seems the cooler might be too slow for high performance. I’m not sure if the cooler is faulty or just needs better cooling like MSI did with some units. Reducing CPU voltage could help lower the temperature. What kind of motherboard do you have? Adjusting the voltage on certain B760 boards may not work because Intel now has Undervolt Protection in newer BIOS versions. Another fix is to lower the turbo power limits. Running the CPU up to 180W boosts performance but generates a lot of heat. You can try setting the PL1 and PL2 turbo limits in BIOS to cut heat, even if it means sacrificing some speed. Intel CPUs tend to overheat when pushed hard. They automatically slow down once they hit a peak temperature of 100°C. As long as your system runs smoothly, you don’t have to worry too much about overheating.
