It’s a straightforward first-person shooter with no complex plot. It’s free to play, making it a great option to try.

Tomb Raider holds its own compared to Uncharted in every area. It's a solid title, though Uncharted edges out in some aspects. It offers the closest equivalent on PC, making it a worthwhile choice. For those who enjoy exploration and action, the newer Deus Ex titles provide engaging gameplay. The narrative is captivating with minor shortcomings. The original game has an older story but delivers better gameplay; however, its mechanics are quite challenging and may deter completion. It's generally not a high-intensity shooter, so you'll get used to using the mouse and keyboard. If you haven't tried the Yakuza series yet, they’re worth checking out—they’ve been ported to PC. Yakuza 0 stands out, especially with the controller. The Witcher 3 shines on PC, boasting extensive mod support and customization options, from UI tweaks to character roles like Deadpool or Big Boss. You can play with mouse and keyboard, though I found the controller more intuitive. Avoid games that feel overly chaotic; this one isn’t. The KBM STALKER series serves as an introduction to quirky cult classics, though it may require some effort to start. It’s worth a try, particularly with mods. KBM Subnautica is a solid survival experience with a clear endgame objective. Whether you prefer PC or controller depends on your preference.

Fallout 4, New Vegas, and Skyrim are all solid titles. They’re not only easy to get used to with keyboard inputs but also excel in modding—another key advantage of PC gaming. If you prefer not to use a keyboard and mouse, many PC games can be enjoyed with a controller. Witcher 3 is a prime example, likely performing better on a controller than a keyboard, and it’s also highly moddable.

This thrilling adventure game, Horizon Zero Dawn, has just hit PC and offers enhanced FPS performance with slightly improved visuals compared to its PS4 counterpart. While it comes with some notable bugs, fans are eagerly awaiting updates. If you haven’t tried Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag yet, it stands out as a compelling entry in the series. Recently, several other titles have been made available for PC: Halo collection, Persona 4, Detroit, Beyond Two Souls, Heavy Rain, and Death Stranding. Beyond adventure games, you might enjoy exclusive or PC-optimized titles such as Civilization, Total War, Homeworld, Deserts of Kharak, Age of Empires, Crusader Kings, and Europa Universalis: Age of Wonders Banner Saga. For classic isometric RPGs, there are great remasters like Planescape Torment, Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, Fallout 1 & 2, Torment: Numenera, and Tyranny. If you’re drawn to older strategy titles, Jagged Alliance 2 is worth a look. For city-building or management experiences, consider Cities: Skylines and the Tropico series. First-person shooters are available on PC for those who prefer a controller, but if you’re up for something fresh, Star Citizen offers an exciting new direction. And for a more immersive RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance delivers a solid experience.

You might enjoy Far Cry 3? (is it considered an adventure?) Here are some other titles at a glance: MGSV: The Phantom Pain, Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, 2 Resident Evil (all except one and zero), The Walking Dead: Telltale Series, Call Of Duty: World At War, Spec Ops: The Line, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Rogue, Black Flag, Dead Space 1-3, Hotline Miami 1 & 2, Dying Light, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Jet Set Radio.

Here are some games I recommend:
- The Brothers in Arms trilogy: Appreciate the strong storytelling and solid combat.
- Arma 3: Enjoy the wide variety of missions and options.
- DefCon: Appreciate the dark tone and realistic warfare themes.
- Hell Let Loose: A solid tactical WWII shooter.
- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Impressed by the combat mechanics.
- The Witcher trilogy: Story is great, but gameplay could improve, especially on PC.
