Confirm your card has only been dusted, never disassembled. Following Sawa Takahashi's guidance, I'm applying thermal paste again and swapping the Thermaltake for a Corsair model. The temperature threshold listed is 83, which suggests it might have shut down before the system could detect it. I'll keep updating this thread once the GPU paste is applied or the better PSU is installed. For now, I'll just wait for Amazon to send me fresh thermal paste. Great!
Replacing my GPU has really fixed the issue! Performance stayed smooth while playing Genshin Impact (the lag was just from entering pause mode). The hotspot stays below 77°C, and I turned off the aggressive fan setting so it spins at a more normal speed when needed. Thanks to everyone who shared their tips!
