As mentioned in the title, I recently purchased a new 1080 with the aim of playing new AAA titles and achieving 424918152442 fps in CSGO. This card has consistently struggled, never exceeding 300, regardless of the settings. The fans aren’t spinning even at full capacity. I’m curious if there’s a way to boost its performance to make the game run smoother, even though I don’t feel it’s necessary. Please help me instead.

The engine limits performance to 300 FPS. If you paid for a 1080p display only to achieve insane FPS in CSGO, you're not being realistic. Those claiming millions or billions are probably exaggerating.

It's impossible to achieve 300 frames per second on a display that only supports 175 Hz.
