Hello all, I haven't been very active lately on CS:GO, but I started playing again yesterday. I had an awful experience. I was lagging, rubber banding, teleporting,... I played some MM on my smurf, I got the error 'connection timed out, disconnecting in 20 seconds' 2 times in 5 minutes. I abandoned the game after 15 minutes. The strange thing however, is that my ping stays stable (at around 30-60 ms), so I have no idea what's causing this. I don't have the fastest internet here (550 Kb/s), but this wasnt a problem 2 weeks ago. I have no idea what to do anymore, I already verified game cache. Thanks Edit: I only have this with CS:GO, I can play other games (like Star Wars Battlefront) online for hours without having any problems. I can also watch hours of Twitch streams without losing connection once, so this is purely a CS:GO problem.

Scoreboard ping is just an average. Are you using net_graph 1? That will give you real result. Rubber banding is all ISPs fault. Try http://www.pingtest.net and see if you have packet loss

Network graph likely experiencing packet loss. Stability drops between 30-60 seconds; 58-62 seconds appears more reliable.

With netgraph, the results show no packet loss and a stable connection. The line quality remains consistent at B.

In fact, yes, I'm connecting via a Wi-Fi adapter to an Ethernet card. A direct Ethernet link isn't available in this home setup.

I had never experienced this before. My performance in CS:GO was just as good a week ago as it is now.
