Greetings,

Recently, I’m experiencing intermittent frame rate dips and pauses without any apparent cause. Initially, the game performed perfectly, but I’m unsure when the issue began. Furthermore, I've encountered stuttering issues specifically with games like FIFA 20, Fortnite, and Modern Warfare, where frame rates consistently appear at 30 fps or 120 fps settles for 60 fps. Here are my system specifications:

Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.40GHz (Sandy Bridge, 32nm Technology)
Memory: 24GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz
Motherboard: ASRock H67M-GE (CPUSocket)
Graphics Card: Optix MAG24C (1920x1080@60Hz) with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (MSI), 2047MB

It’s unlikely your recollection is the problem, though let's investigate that way first. Let’s examine what your ‘resource monitor’ display reveals regarding your RAM—specifically, how much of it, if anything, is being consumed by ‘standby’ memory. The display appears as follows:

Here’s the outcome of that process, and I'm unfamiliar with this platform’s image-insertion methods—I don't know how to upload images.

Thank you.

I would experiment with V-Sync, as it proved effective for other users. I’d also incorporate one of Nvidia's technologies, such as G-Sync or ‘Fast Sync’, to enhance performance.

Beginning any investigation into FPS difficulties, begin by reinstalling your graphics drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). Many users have reported that this approach resolved approximately 90% of the issues observed across various online communities.

If this method proves unsuccessful, we’ll proceed with additional troubleshooting steps. It's generally most effective to address driver-related issues initially, as they frequently contribute to performance problems.

Please obtain the latest drivers for your 6GB video memory card (not the listed 2047MB in your specifications). You can find them here: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverRe...5644/en-us

Also, download DDU from: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Remove your Nvidia display drivers utilizing the Windows Add or Remove Programs feature. Then, launch DDU and select "restart in safe mode."

Within safe mode using DDU, choose Nvidia from the options and select the "recommended" setting – this ensures a thorough clean installation and restart.

Following the reboot, install the drivers without utilizing GeForce Experience.

Restart your computer once more and test to see if the problem is resolved.

If this doesn't yield the desired outcome, I am available to provide further assistance.

Unfortunately, that didn’t assist at all.

I attempted every possible method, but it consistently fails—the frame rate appears as 60fps when aiming for 120fps, and 60fps renders as 30fps.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Are there any alternative approaches that might be considered?
