Hello, I’m facing an unexpected slowdown in my games suddenly. Despite my efforts, performance has dropped significantly—especially with titles like GTA 5 and Assassins Creed Syndicate that previously ran smoothly at 90-100 FPS. Now they often fall to 55-52 FPS or even lower, sometimes as low as 40-50. The issue persists even though I haven’t updated anything recently. My system temperatures stay below 80°C, and there are no background updates. It’s frustrating because I can’t identify the root cause. I’ve tried several fixes: reinstalling GPU drivers with Driver Sweeper, using Malwarebytes, CCleaner, Razer Cortex (once worked), and even reinstalling Windows 10, which helped a bit. My hardware specs are listed above. Could someone assist me in troubleshooting this?

I believe the memory issue is the main concern. The 664MHz speed isn't sufficient for handling triple A titles, which is something I've noticed with slower RAM in the past. Upgrading to DDR3 would be a cost-effective solution right now.

I believe the RAM issue isn't a concern since it's double the amount, which suggests the frequency shouldn't be an issue.

I was focusing on highlighting the need for quicker RAM. Because his RAM is relatively slow, it causes frame drops.

Review your message carefully. It mentions games with low FPS, RAM configuration of double data rate and DDR3.

Did you install a Windows update? Those can lead to problems. Consider using beta GPU drivers or older versions.

Used Windows 10 version 1709, moved to Windows 8.1, then attempted Windows 10 1803 with the newest release. It didn’t function properly. Used initial drivers plus some beta versions, but none worked.

The OPGL score is a measure of performance in OpenGL, indicating how well your application utilizes the graphics capabilities. It helps assess rendering efficiency and resource usage.
