the menu is showing up as resident evil 7, but it feels like I'm just browsing through options. it's not the most intense gameplay, yet i'm stuck in this interface. many games behave like this too—loading gpu and handling memory. edit, it looks small but reports 78c with 100% gpu usage and 130fps. i have about 6gb of ram and 10gb of vram.

Based on the games, it seems some will pause while others keep running in the background.
