Despite no new release appearing in the Mac App Store for more than a month, the earlier mouse malfunction has been resolved. I’m able to play the game on my Mac with a steady 60 fps at top settings, using around 60% GPU power on my Base M4 model. Still, some features are missing compared to the Mac version. Resolution changes are limited to scaling, resulting in a 4:3 display with noticeable black bars on the sides rather than the fullscreen 16:9 view on my 1440 monitor. The game doesn’t seem to run at 1440p either. I can’t exceed 60 fps, whereas the PC version supports 120 fps and higher. Adding options for 120 fps or unlimited would align better with the PC experience. Apple’s DLSS, FSR, XESS, and MetalFX upscaling aren’t available here; it requires standard performance with balanced quality upscaling to enhance performance on lower-end Apple Silicon Macs.
