To begin, I’m running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit on a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 32GB RAM. The system uses a Gigabyte X470 AORUS GAMING motherboard, equipped with a 2047MB Crutial Ballistix DDR4 (8GBx4) at 3200MHz. I’m using a GeForce GTX 1660 (Gigabyte), a 1TB Western Digital HDD, and a 119GB Corsair Force GS SSD. My original build had only 16GB RAM and a GTX1050; it worked fine for Apex Legends and COD Warzone. Eventually, I started crashing both games, prompting me to upgrade the graphics card. I found a deal on the GTX 1660 but it didn’t solve the problem. It seems memory might be the issue. I replaced all my RAM with four new sticks, doubling the capacity, but nothing changed. I reinstalled Windows 11 and even tried Windows 10, but everything functioned properly. The CPU cooler looks dark, and I’ve tested various settings and drivers. All updates are current, yet I’m still stuck. Anyone have suggestions on where to look next or should I consider replacing the motherboard?

I've adjusted the memory timings, but nothing has improved. It's still working without crashing, though I'm experiencing delays of about 1 to 2 minutes. Any tweaks so far haven't helped much.

I suddenly changed from functioning well to completely unusable to playing, all night long.

Tell me about the crashing process. Are the programs stopping completely or does the system reboot on its own? Is there a blue screen of death appearing? Are any file names displayed? Do you have an image attached?

Typically just a simple notification that the program stopped working and requires a restart.

Launch the event viewer. Navigate to Windows Logs -> System. Apply filters for error and critical entries, sort by time. Capture a screenshot and share it here.
