I looked up the issue on Google and found solutions by adjusting the fallout4pref.ini file in mydocument/mygames/fallout4. I changed several settings to enable fullscreen mode. Despite these changes, the game still doesn’t run in fullscreen on my system (4690k i5 gtx970, 8GB RAM). Please let me know if you need further help!
No, you can't adjust the resolution directly within the options settings.
Often games fail to enter fullscreen due to background applications like TeamViewer running. Verify if any other software is active that might interfere. Also, test pressing Alt + F10—this may have triggered the fullscreen switch. Look for settings within the game to ensure a fullscreen option isn’t disabled, such as a checkbox labeled "Fullscreen."
None of these is functioning T_T... maybe I need to wait for another update.
