The game runs smoothly on my primary system (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HGXvpg) but crashes on the secondary one (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GD6nbv). I've adjusted settings like resolution, moved files to the C drive, enabled compatibility in Windows 8 and 7, started from the executable, reinstalled the game and DirectX. Both rigs have an SDD and an HDD, with games saved on the HDD.

Check if the failing device connects through HDMI. What about the other device it interacts with?

The game works with HDMI, but it freezes the screen at 24 frames per second and still starts up completely.
