I pressed play through Steam, and Uplay appeared, launching Rainbow Six. The title splash followed, then the game closed instantly after launch! No errors reported. I’ve reinstalled the game, updated my NIVDA drivers, rolled back a few versions, and double-checked the Steam logs. Disabled overlays and tried Safe Mode, but nothing worked. Windows Event Log showed no entries related to the crash or the game. A “Security-SPP” entry appeared around the same time, but it didn’t mention Rainbow Six. It seems like something strange happened—maybe a glitch or conflict. Have you encountered this issue before? Anyone else facing the same problem? I’ve already spent about $80, and I’m really frustrated.

If it goes on, you can update your purchase via Steam support—it works automatically and is simple. I don’t own the game, so if needed I’d look for other ways to assist. You’ve already handled most of this on your own... so yes.. :mellow:

Confirmed attempts to launch from there failed. Also tried opening the SteamAPPS common folder and starting the game from there, but it didn’t work either.
