I'm new to PC and when I press the Windows key for quick exit, my mouse cursor moves to the top left corner of the screen and stays there unless I press Ctrl+Alt+Del to close it. It sometimes takes 2 to 4 minutes for it to return, and this happens only a few times out of ten. It doesn't occur every time. I can share specs if you need, but it's mostly just an annoyance. Thanks! I noticed this more often in the game Rainbow6.

just check your mosue settings etc. quite possible that you have a function where the mouse pointer goes to a specific point when a specific action is implemented. I believe it was termed as hot spots or something where you could have the pointer automatically jump to a specified position? anyways it sounds like a software thing not an issue with hardware. you could check the device manager etc ensure your drivers are up to date and again just run thru the settings for keyboarads and mouse etc.
