The Old Republic, Slay the Spire, and Skyrim don’t. We’ve changed the PSU, GPU, RAM, SSD, reinstalled Windows, reset the motherboard, tried different GPU slots on the board, and attempted various fixes—yet nothing seems to resolve it. Overheating doesn’t appear to be the cause either; CPU temps and GPU temperatures stay within normal ranges during gameplay. I’m at my limit for solutions, any suggestions would be appreciated.

It looks like you've explored various solutions. First, it seems you've attempted to switch between Windows 10 and Windows 11. Did this involve a full reinstall or an in-place upgrade? Regarding your second point, have you checked another power outlet, possibly in another room, used a different extension cord, or changed the PSU cable?

They've already replaced the SSD. The parts that still need checking are the CPU and possibly an external component.

They accomplished it. However, I’m not sure about their exact intentions with swapping SSDs. It seems they likely performed a new installation after the swap or simply started with the Windows already on the SSD. Are there any HDDs in the system that might be handling game storage? It appears the setup is mostly on SSDs, though. Assuming they followed all the right procedures, it probably points to the CPU or motherboard—especially considering recent issues with AMD chips.

I experienced the same incident in another residence, which clearly wasn't caused by an outlet.

Changing from an SSD to an HDD or vice versa, along with a complete Windows reinstall, didn't resolve the problem. Reforming the old C drive also didn't fix it.

Absolutely, I’m fully focused on uncovering the solution. It seems like we need to verify the system’s compatibility thoroughly. If needed, we can explore alternative fixes like CPU swapping. This could be a simple hardware or power-related issue. Let’s narrow it down.

I was thinking about putting my CPU inside his motherboard, but the worry about damaging it has stopped me from trying yet.
