Hello everyone, I have a few questions regarding a solution I used to resolve crashes in Assassin's Creed Origins during cutscenes. You can find the post here: https://community.amd.com/t5/graphics/as...d-p/437821. My system specs are a Ryzen 5 2600, AMD RX470 with 4GB RAM (2x8, 1x8), Windows 10 64-bit. The Adrenalin 2020 Edition 21.2.3 driver helped fix the problem, but I’m curious about the details. Does this mean I should avoid updating drivers during the period I need them for smooth gameplay? It seems confusing that the same AC Origin drivers work well in one edition but fail in others. I understand this isn’t an official AMD forum, but I appreciate any advice you can offer—especially on whether updating drivers is safe when I usually do it after new releases. Thanks a lot!

Crash files should appear upon failure. The top choice is to share them in the developers forums, enabling AMD to address any driver-related problems.

You can locate the crash files by checking the default folder where Ubisoft stores them, typically within your game's installation directory or a dedicated support area. The auto-generated reports often appear in that location. For the AMD crash report, look for it in the same place but may be labeled differently depending on the version. If you need further guidance, feel free to ask! Thank you for reaching out.
