I'm skeptical about this. The performance isn't putting pressure on the GPU (only 40-50% usage) and it doesn't even fully load the system. The BIOS shouldn't be impacted by a single game. This seems more related to driver compatibility. Recently, the system crashed to the desktop, which is a known problem mentioned on the game's site. A patch is coming up that should fix this issue.

They mentioned a new release expected around two weeks from now, which could resolve some stability problems. This update mainly aims to allow room setup with players from other platforms, such as PS4.

After the newest update was installed, the issue persisted, regrettably. I think the 390x BIOS flash was the root cause. I encountered the same exact problem in another title (Spintires), indicating it wasn't a game-specific flaw. With the dual BIOS option active on my GPU, I switched back to the 290 BIOS. After playing both Rocket League and Spintires for more than an hour each, without any issues, it seems the 390x BIOS was responsible. So, MrSpeed - you were right.
