Game keeps failing or freezing repeatedly.
I purchased Rocket League recently. It offers a lot of entertainment but often experiences crashes or freezes while playing. The issues appear unpredictable—sometimes it stalls completely, other times it cuts out abruptly. After freezing, the screen goes dark (loss of input), sometimes flashing before that, and then it recovers and resumes. When it restarts, a "disconnected" icon appears briefly before normal play resumes. It can happen multiple times in a session or roughly every half minute. This is really annoying. Technical details are available, and I've tried updating all the latest drivers. Any suggestions? Thanks, MEC.
Update all your drivers, as they can occasionally lead to such issues.
It has also experienced crashes, but I'm not sure what caused them.
No relation to your device. They're experiencing major server problems today.
As noted earlier, everyone is currently up to date. Appreciate the help, team. I'm still working through this. No one seems to have encountered the same problems. The game doesn't freeze entirely; it just pauses briefly. It's like the PC is constantly adjusting its settings—GPU clocks drop to idle (around 300mhz), usage drops to zero, then spikes back up to full gaming speed. Other games function normally. Quirky behavior...
Perhaps the 390x BIOS is the issue. Consider reverting to the 290 BIOS.
