Not always, back then the connection would drop for 3-4 seconds occasionally, now it's around 0.5 seconds and often enough to be bothersome. It happened whenever I was using Discord.

It seems the problem was actually with my motherboard, Gigabyte, which they claimed fixed but only partially. From what I learned, most Gigabyte boards have this issue, and updating the BIOS doesn’t fully resolve it. Making updates less frequent helps reduce occurrences.

They seem to either be partially aware or just trying to avoid responsibility. Microcode might handle it better. Most cases are PEBKAC, but this time it’s different. It makes you think about a shared pattern. Gigabyte boards are common, so not every one is doing it. If your Windows setup supports VMs, running Discord inside might help.
