Game issues with keyboard disconnection
Hello, I’m facing an issue where my keyboard stops working for about a second during gameplay before reconnecting. It seems to be a problem with a Ducky keyboard (2 TKL) in titles like Cyberpunk and Horizon Zero Dawn. System details: CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 5600X at 3.7 GHz, no cooling fan, motherboard is Asus TUF GAMING B550-PLUS ATX, RAM is Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB, SSD is Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB M.2, and the graphics card is GeForce RTX 3070 LHR with 8 GB VRAM. Case is Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX and power supply is SeaSonic FOCUS GX 750W.
This also fits with playing those games. It might not matter much, but I added something earlier. I tend to write something and then reread it thinking it needs changes. Progress is slow, but I’m not quite there yet. Perhaps a concern is other peripherals—what were they and how did they connect?
Absolutely, I'm curious about drivers and odd occurrences. It seems like each component in your computer requires a driver for communication.
I was considering updating my keyboard drivers to check, but I'm not on Discord and everything seems to be functioning well.
What is the age of your mainboard BIOS? I remember the AM4 500 series board from last year had USB problems that were resolved after a BIOS update.
BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends International, LLC. F14, 1/4/2022 is the information provided. I faced a much worse issue during initial PC setup; it resolved after an update to the BIOS. Recently, I attempted an update again but encountered the same problem.
