Hello everyone! I'm facing some problems with Warzone after updating my CPU, GPU, and adding more RAM. It didn't have any issues before. Now it crashes at different times in Warzone on any map, and tonight I experienced a BSOD.
My current setup includes an EVGA 980ti, i7-9700k, 32GB Corsair Dom Plat LED (4x8GB), MSI Z370-A Pro, 650W Corsair PSU, and an H80i CPU cooler. I've changed the thermal paste on the 980ti and 9700k, but they're still running at low to moderate temps under load. It seems the motherboard's cooling fins might be insufficient, possibly causing overheating issues—especially since the 9700k isn't originally supported. Or maybe the second set of Corsair Dom Plat LEDs is faulty?
I'm planning to swap in a new motherboard with better cooling fins right away. I'm also looking for advice if anyone else has run into the same crashes. After the RAM change, I'll remove the new RAM and see if it helps. Thanks for any suggestions!
I personally found Warzone to be an excellent stability test. It often holds up well in other games, stress tests, or applications, but it can still crash under pressure until you adjust the settings. Perhaps try disabling XMP and see if that helps. Avoid any overclocking.
