Hey there! I’m looking to purchase a used desktop around $300 for gaming purposes. However, I’m worried about potential issues since my old PC often encounters errors even with the right specs. What should I do? I can handle DLL problems, but some tricky ones remain unresolved after extensive research. Do you have any advice or support? Thanks a lot!

Restart Windows, apply updates and reinstall if necessary. Install required drivers for all devices.

Are you still running Windows 7? It’s time to switch to Windows 10. P.S. I just moved from Windows 7 last month.

You could simply use the 300-word parts section on Craigslist and build a more efficient system than creating a whole new used marketplace.

Prebuilt PCs aren't great. Perhaps they offer solid components, but the costs remain high. Consider purchasing a used DDR3 motherboard with 4GB RAM and an Intel i3 processor.

Check Craigslist for those components. Look for the H61 chipset motherboard with 4GB DDR3 RAM (compatible with MBOO) and models supporting 3rd gen i3 or 1st gen i5. Also, find a GT1030 Evga 400 N1 512GB HHD case. If you need local options, share a link or details.

Thanks all for your support! I'll look for suitable components and secure Windows 10 without buying online.
