My computer began crashing after playing any game for roughly five minutes. In Event Viewer I found this error message: the app-specific permission settings don’t allow Local Launch for the COM Server application with the specified security and app IDs. The user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) is denied access from LocalHost via LRPC in the application container. This permission issue can be adjusted using the Component Services admin tool. I’m not sure what to do next. These are my system details: i5 12400k, RX 6500 XT, 16GB RAM (3600MHZ), B660-E.

The PC stops functioning properly. There might be a brief Blue Screen followed by a restart to Windows, or it could power off entirely. You can usually restart it immediately without needing to disconnect. The power supply unit is present, and its wattage is specified.

Consider using DISM and SFC from an admin CMD window (always check the command first). Run these steps: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth SFC /SCANNOW

Review your Windows Update records for recent installations. On the lower part of this page, you'll find an "Uninstall updates" choice to remove the newest patches.

Your system temps while gaming are typically around the CPU and GPU. Overheating can cause crashes or automatic shutdowns to protect the hardware.
