Game issues in GTA with freezing and Fortnite stutters at 5600x and 3070
I am experiencing a Freeze in GTA V that happens whenever I drive around, and it occurs both online and in singleplayer.
My system specifications are 5600x, 3070 8GB RAM, 16GB RAM with 3200Mhz, running at 1080P resolution.
The CPU is stock, and the GPU is using a stable undervolt setting for temperature control.
The game operates with the CPU and GPU at 40-30% usage, which seems unusual.
Additionally, I face stuttering in Fortnite (though I don’t play it often). I noticed some stutters when turning around, even though I maintain around 140 fps on maximum settings, and the issue continues.
After switching to medium settings, the stutters persist, averaging 300-400 fps.
I previously had stutters with BFV but resolved them by reverting to DirectX 11 from 12.
Moreover, I’ve observed audio interruptions during gameplay, possibly linked to these crashes.
I tested other titles to check for similar issues:
Battlefield V: Smooth FPS at DX11 Ultra (average, based on past sessions)
VALORANT: 400-500 FPS at 1080 Max with no stutters
Rainbow Six Siege: 200-300 FPS max with no stutter
Modern Warfare 2019: 200-300 FPS medium with no stutter
When playing GTA, the GPU and CPU usage drops to nearly zero during these stutters.
It’s installed on an SSD.
I attempted to downgrade the GPU driver for stability but it still stutters.
I also tried using DDU for a fresh driver install, but that didn’t help.
I attempted a fresh Windows installation in hopes of fixing corrupt files or other causes, but it didn’t resolve the problem.
I suspect an issue with RAM—during initial PC setup I encountered numerous blue screens related to memory errors, which were resolved after a BIOS update.
Currently, I’m stuck and unsure what to do next, so I’m reaching out for assistance.
Please help me.

What is the model of your power supply? Have you checked the temperatures?
